Located in Palmetto Bay, the suburban neighborhood of Deering Bay spans more than 140 acres that lie within the Coral Gables neighborhood, and draws home buyers seeking a coastal lifestyle. It is just next door to the Biscayne Bay and the Chapman Field Park, juxtaposing a nautical element with a lush landscape. The private residential community is distinguished by its vast acreage, with mostly four or five bedroom homes, and a mix of housing options, from large estate homes and traditional mansions to plush mid-rise and high-rise condominiums, golf villas and single family residences.

The Deering Bay Yacht and Country Club has tennis courts, three marinas an 18-hole golf course designed by golfing legend Arnold Palmer. Residents are served by a number of public parks and excellent dining, shopping and entertainment at the Merrick Park shopping mall housing over 100 stores and restaurants, as well as the Dadeland Mall to the west. University of Miami and Miami Dade College are also located in proximity.

Deering Bay is just a twenty minute drive from downtown Miami, Miami International Airport, and South Beach, and flanked by the neighborhoods of Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove.

The neighborhood is ethnically diverse, with a strong representation from the residents of Iranian and Cuban ancestry. It is also linguistically sophisticated, with approximately 5% of its residents aged five years and above fluent in French. This is higher than what almost 95% of America’s neighborhoods can manage.
